This book is a great guide to life after 40! I highly recommend it, and I know that other women will share my enthusiasm. It will leave readers feeling optimistic that their lives in their 40's, 50's, and beyond can be healthy, active, and fulfilling. Although the book is written particularly for women, there are many principles discussed which could apply to men as well. It is easy to read, but comprehensive - an ideal combination. I found this book to be of great value especially since my body changed drastically when I hit about 38years old. This book is not just for women over 40; women under 40 would also benefit. I am a woman in my 30s and found the advice on nutrition and exercise to be very helpful in understanding my own body and the changes that are coming. I have read nutrition and health books in the past and get overwhelmed with all the information. This book lays out the information in a clear and concise manner that makes it easy to follow and understand. I would recommend this book to a woman in her 20s, 30s, 40s and so on. It's never too early or late to take control of your health!

There is an abundance of knowledge within this book. Which can be taken in by all even though the target audience is women over 40. I might also add, if you are a woman below the age of 40 or above this is very interesting.
As mentioned earlier. There is an abundance of knowledge within these walls of pages. That we all can take head too and learn from. To revitalize our memory of what is needed to be done to live a more healthier life. Something that caught my eye in this awesome bundle of information was the insight on the thyroid gland. Which in a lot of cases ends up being an UNDER lying cause in ones over weight situation especially in women. As well as various other medical anomollies. That one doesn't put together right off. As they say knowledge is power, and Carla has provided an arsenal of knowledge. Very inspiring woman right here check out her bio. This book is well worth the read !
